It is finally here!

After a lot of very long days and hard work I have finally launched to new platform for my business! http://www.charlessaultersmedia.com! I have worked an incredible amount to get this site to where it is actually have to teach myself a lot of new things but I am excited that it is finally up and ready. It will be a constant work in process always being updated with fresh material because I put so much work in choosing an easily update-able format. Charlotte Lightrope - Black and White

This show was a very simple set up, with no lighting other than the "light rope" which is a standard decorative light you could probably pick up for a few dollars. I used a tripod and set my Nikon to a slower shutter speed I could pick up more of the light. Also we decided to fold the light rope in half which basically doubled the amount of light in the scene. Having the light so close to Charlotte's face gave beautiful catch lights in her eyes and since the rope was bent in a circular pattern we got an interesting light fall off on her face leaving some contrast in the middle creating a little extra drama.

This particular image was a simple one light set up using a 30x24 softbox at about half power
